  • – 1/2 cup molasses
  • – 2 large eggs
  • – 1/2 cup milk
  • For Decorating:
  • – 1 cup powdered sugar
  • – 2–3 Tbsp milk
  • – Assorted candies sprinkles, candy eyes, icing pens

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease muffin tin or cake pan.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices into a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add molasses and eggs; beat well.
  4. Alternately add dry mix and milk, mixing until smooth.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 18–22 min for cupcakes or 25–30 for cake.
  6. Cool completely. Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing; decorate with candies and sprinkles.
