This high protein ground beef bowl is a quick and nutritious meal packed with 35g of protein per serving. Made with lean ground beef, quinoa, and spinach, it’s perfect for meal prep, muscle gain, or a healthy family dinner. Ready in just 25 minutes

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef (90/10 or 96/4)

1 cup cooked quinoa

2 cups baby spinach (fresh or frozen)

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté chopped onion for 2–3 minutes until translucent.

  • Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes until browned, breaking up the meat with a spatula.

  • Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Stir in spinach and cook until wilted (2–3 minutes).

  • Add in cooked quinoa, mix well, and heat through for 1–2 minutes.

 

  • Serve warm and garnish with chopped parsley or hot sauce (optional).

Notes

  • Substitute brown rice for quinoa if preferred

  • Use 96/4 ground beef for a leaner version

  • Note: These values are approximate and based on standard 90/10 ground beef, 1 cup cooked quinoa, 1 tbsp olive oil, and 2 cups spinach per serving.
  • Add a fried egg on top for an extra protein boost

 

  • Stores well in fridge for 4 days or freezer for 3 months
