Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken

Juicy, crispy chicken glazed with sweet garlic honey sauce, ready in 20 minutes in the air fryer.

Ingrédients
  

  • 450 g chicken breast or thighs cubed
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 60 ml chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes optional
  • Sesame seeds green onions (garnish)
  • Non-stick oil spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Toss chicken, cornstarch, salt, pepper and soy sauce in mixing bowl until evenly coated.
  3. Oil air fryer basket and place chicken pieces in a single layer. Spray tops with oil.
  4. Air fry for 7–8 min, flip halfway, until crisp and cooked through (internal temp 75°C/165°F).
  5. While chicken cooks, melt butter in saucepan, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  6. Add honey, broth, vinegar, soy sauce, and chili flakes. Simmer 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Toss cooked chicken in sauce until glazed. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Substitute chicken thighs for extra juicy results. Gluten-free with gluten-free soy sauce.
