- Prepare Pan: Line mini muffin tin with paper liners or use silicone mold.
- Melt Chocolate: Melt dark chocolate in double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Add Flavor: Stir in peppermint extract, vanilla, and sea salt.
- Fill Molds: Spoon melted chocolate into muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Add Topping: Sprinkle crushed peppermint on top if desired.
- Chill: Refrigerate 30 minutes until completely set.
- Remove & Store: Pop out of molds and store in airtight container in cool place.
