Method
- Prepare the Ice Cream Base:
- Pour one full bottle (14–16 oz) of vanilla protein shake into your Ninja Creami pint container. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla instant pudding mix. Whisk thoroughly until smooth.
- Freeze:
- Secure the lid tightly and place the pint in the freezer for 20–24 hours. Ensure the surface is level before freezing.
- Process in Ninja Creami:
- Remove pint from the freezer and install in your Ninja Creami machine. Select the "Lite Ice Cream" function and process. If crumbly, re-spin once or twice. For extra creaminess, add a splash of unsweetened almond milk and spin again.
- Optional—Prepare Blueberry Compote:
- Combine blueberries and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until berries burst, mash for a jammy texture (3–6 minutes). Stir in lemon juice and sweetener, then simmer until thickened. Cool slightly before serving.
- Serve:
- Scoop ice cream into a bowl. Top with blueberry compote or any toppings you like.
Notes
For best results, use a thick, creamy protein shake (Fairlife Core Power recommended).
The instant pudding mix helps avoid an icy or chalky texture.
Add nuts, berries, or cacao nibs as “Mix-ins” after spinning for extra nutrition and crunch.
