Air Fryer Chicken Tenders – Crispy & Juicy

Golden, crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside — these Air Fryer Chicken Tenders are everything you love about comfort food made healthier! With minimal oil and maximum flavor, they’re perfect for weeknight dinners, kids’ lunches, or guilt-free snacking.

Ingrédients
  

  • 1 lb 450 g chicken tenders or boneless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko or regular
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • Optional: honey mustard or BBQ dipping sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken strip: dip in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. Arrange in the basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with olive oil.
  5. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dip!

Notes

Add a pinch of cayenne for spicy tenders.
For gluten-free, use almond flour and gluten-free breadcrumbs.
Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for 3 minutes.
Try parmesan breadcrumbs for extra crunch!
