One-Pot Creamy Chicken Bake

A cozy, family-friendly dinner loaded with tender chicken, creamy rice, and melted cheese — all baked to golden perfection. This one-pot creamy chicken bake brings comfort to your table with minimal effort and maximum flavor!

Ingrédients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast cubed
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet or baking dish, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice, chicken broth, milk, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Add cubed chicken and half the cheese blend. Stir until evenly combined.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can substitute white rice with brown rice (add 10 more minutes of baking time).
Add broccoli, mushrooms, or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
